Weekend Workshops
STAR weekend workshops are one day workshops. Past workshops have included: audition bootcamps, improvisation fundamentals, makeup design, and musical theatre.
STAR Theatre
STAR Theatre is a 4 week summer camp program. Mornings are dedicated to the rehearsal of a main stage musical. ALL STAR Kids are cast in the show! Afternoons are spent enjoying workshops, unit time, and special theme day activities. STAR Kids get to choose the workshops they will attend. Favorite past workshops include stage combat, improvisation, song writing, and choreography for musical theatre. In unit time STAR Kids explore the building blocks of theatre, grouped with kids of a similar age. Special theme days are fun opportunities for the whole camp to come together and play! Favorite past theme days include Pirate Day, Rock Star Day, and Secret Agent Day.
STAR Video
STAR Video is a 4 week summer camp program. Mornings are dedicated to the writing, recording, and editing of individual video projects. Afternoons are spent enjoying workshops, unit time, and special theme day activities. STAR Kids get to choose the workshops they will attend. Favorite past workshops include stage combat, improvisation, song writing, and choreography for musical theatre. In unit time STAR Kids explore the building blocks of video production. Special theme days are fun opportunities for the whole camp to come together and play! Favorite past theme days include Pirate Day, Rock Star Day, and Secret Agent Day.

STAR Arts Education can partner with your school in a variety of ways. Teaching artists can lead video, theatre, and stage craft workshops depending on school interest. All workshops are aligned with the National Core Arts Standards. We can work with teachers and schools to integrate the arts with your core subjects as well.
