Welcome to STAR Arts Education!
STAR is a kids Theatre Arts organization based in Gilroy, California. Our mission is to provide a creative and inclusive space for kids aged 7-17 to explore their passion for acting, video, film, and podcasting. At STAR, we believe in connecting and engaging with our STAR kids by fostering core values such as love, trust, community, unity, imagination, and excellence. Through our programs, kids not only learn acting and tech skills on and off the stage, but also develop lifelong friendships and a sense of belonging. Sign up for our newsletter below!

Reconocimiento de tierras
Es importante para STAR que, a medida que continuamos aprendiendo y creciendo, también lo hagan nuestras prácticas. A medida que nos expandimos a nuestra nueva propiedad STAR, Oak Tree Garden, es importante que conozcamos la historia de la tierra en la que residimos.
Tomemos un momento para reconocer la tierra en la que estamos reunidos. Durante miles de años, esta tierra ha sido el hogar del pueblo Ohlone, específicamente de la tribu Popeloutchom (Amah Mutsun). Son parte de la Nación Mutsun, que en un momento estuvo compuesta por unas 22 tribus de la Costa Central.
El pueblo de Popeloutchom se ha mantenido comprometido con la administración de esta tierra durante muchos siglos. Ha sido apreciado y protegido, como los mayores han instruido a los jóvenes a través de generaciones. Nos sentimos honrados y agradecidos de estar aquí hoy en sus tierras tradicionales y haremos que sea una prioridad aprender y enseñar la historia de esta tierra.
